JMD is currently assisting OCTA develop site (civil and traffic) plans for the proposed Metrolink station in the City of Placentia. The improvements include proposed station platforms and accommodation of a multistory parking structure. JMD tasks include coordinating with SCRRA and CPUC staff as well as developing concept plans and design plans for the addition of a third track within the existing right of way, parking lot designs for three selected sites, preparing an ADA compliant pedestrian access plan and design of walkways, developing a signage plan for on-site and off-site directional signage, and preparing a comprehensive multi-modal/transit access plan that accommodates buses and shuttles as well as bicyclists.
