JMD developed initial studies and preliminary design for the I-710 Freeway Environmental Impact Report (EIR)/Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Project in Los Angeles County. The 18-mile project, between State Route 60 (Pomona Freeway) and Ocean Boulevard in the City of Long Beach proposes to add exclusive truck lanes to relieve congestion related to increased container activity between the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach and the rest of the region. The lead agency for the project is LA County Metro supported by key funding partners including Caltrans, Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach.
