JMD developed an infrastructure study for a 375-acre portion of the BioMed Tech Focus Area in the proposed Adelante/Whiteside Merged Redevelopment Project. JMD was responsible for conducting a conceptual capacity analysis for existing drainage and sewer facilities, as well as providing an assessment including a list of necessary infrastructure improvements for each of the three build-out scenarios. Infrastructure improvements included drainage (i.e., storm drain, detention basin, etc.) and sewer facilities. The study included consideration of light rail, commuter rail and high speed rail service as well as railroad improvements and freeway corridor connections. Bus rapid transit service was also considered to provide regional access to the project area.
